Teacher Blogs

I have, since I graduated from college with my teaching degree, been a blog hopper. Many teachers share their classroom events, products, decorations, and student work. I have loved them! I have used them. I am grateful for them.

I have been a teacher now going on 5 years. I think it is safe to say, I am close to making past the 3-5 year dropping out of teaching ratio. I have taught 5th grade, 2nd grade and spent a year as a reading specialist. This year I am embarking on a new journey. I am braving middle school. I will be teaching 6th grade language arts.

I am excited and nervous. I want to be the best I can be for my students. I am compiling websites, projects, and information to help me get started during this summer. I needed a place to put it all. I figured, why not begin my own teaching blog. Most of what I share will be free. If it is not, I do have a Teachers Pay Teachers store you can purchase it from. I do not charge much and only if it took me a long time to create.

A good friend of mine once told me that "education is free."  What I learn in the way of information is always free. If you have any questions or comments I would love a chance to respond.

Come along with me on my journey.
